We are HealthXDS, and we wish to achieve a 10X improvement in access to healthcare by redesigning it from the inside out for all stakeholders.
There are significant barriers to healthcare access, including: the high cost of care, inadequate or no insurance coverage, lack of availability of services, and lack of culturally competent care.
As a result, today’s patient experience is characterized by: unmet health needs, delays in receiving appropriate care, inability to get preventive services, financial burdens, and preventable hospitalizations.
We believe that bold, first principles reasoning, human-centered design thinking, Agile methods, and iterative experimentation in a clinical setting will yield the order of magnitude improvements we are seeking in healthcare access. Our approach brings patients, clinicians, and healthcare innovators into a common experience that promotes: data-driven mobile solutions, service redesign, model experimentation using virtual reality and popup clinics, and health coaching.
We believe that there is an opportunity to fundamentally prove out new models of care that are transformative to our healthcare system. We also believe that HealthXDS can be a thought leader and major catalyst to this change. We are seeking organizations and individuals who are compelled by our vision and interested in playing a role.
